a low-sulfated ash formulation that meets
the requirements for low-emission
quality diesel oil and protects under the most
severe conditions found in modern diesel
engines. It is compatible with all exhaust
treatment devices and is designed for
engines equipped with diesel particulate
filters (DPF).
AMSOIL OE 15W-40 Synthetic Diesel Oil is
formulated for improved heat and oxidation
resistance over conventional petroleum
oil for cleaner engine operation,
maintaining power and fuel efficiency
for superior engine performance. Its
dependable cold-temperature flow assures
easier start-up and improved post start-up

Due to its low rate of volatility

AMSOIL OE 15W-40 Synthetic Diesel Oil is
compatible with conventional and synthetic
motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils
with other oils, however, will reduce the
performance benefits.
AMSOIL OE 15W-40 Synthetic Diesel Oil is
recommended for the intervals stated by
the original equipment manufacturer
(OEM). Refer to the owner’s manual for specific
oil change interval recommendations.
AMSOIL recommends the oil filter be replaced
at each oil change as recommended by the
OEM. When using an AMSOIL By-Pass
Filtration System, refer to the By-Pass
Oil Filter data bulletin (G498) for more
information.
This product is not expected to cause
health concerns when used for the intended
application and according to the
recommendations in the Material Safety Data Sheet
(MSDS). MSDS’s are available upon
request at 715-392- 7101 Keep Out of Reach of
Children. Don’t pollute. Return used oil
to collection centers.

AMSOIL Synthetic Diesel Motor engine Oil 5w-30, 5w-40, 10w-30, 15w-40 are premium diesel oils providing long life, performance in Nissan UD and American made diesel engines. Built with heavy-duty dispersant/detergent additives, and 12 TBN chemistry neutralizes acids and controls soot thickening from EGR and blow-by to protect against corrosion, cylinder bore polishing (wear) and varnish/sludge deposits. Amsoil Synthetic Diesel Oil Replaces Nissan long life Synthetic, Shell Rotella, Cummins Blue and Mobile Delvac.
AMSOIL's Best Diesel Oil is inherently more thermally stable than many diesel oils on the market and have been shown to keep turbochargers considerably cleaner than other brands of oil. While poor quality engine oils have been shown to cause turbocharger bearing seizure in under 100 hours during a "heat soak" test.
Many diesel oils will survive the 100 hour "heat soak" test, but..., with considerable deposits and incipient oil passage blocking. If you use low quality diesel oils make sure you let the engine idle for a few minutes after use to allow the engine and turbocharger to cool. This does not eliminate deposit formation but it can reduce it.
Take a look at the varnish deposits in this picture. These are the results of a severe high temperature deposit test. This test clearly shows that AMSOIL diesel oil keeps engines cleaner longer than other major brands diesel oils. Which oil would you rather have protecting your engine? They are the Best!
The bottom line: To prevent or eliminate turbocharger bearing seizure, there is no substitute for a high quality synthetic diesel oil (like AMSOIL's) as they have been have been proven to maintain turbochargers in an almost "as fitted" condition and significantly reduce deposit formation.
